The Girl at the Train Station

Girl at Train Station

I wait for a train

At a station far from home

But I forget where I’m going

Because I’m staring at a girl who dances.

Her form is off

Her steps

off

sequence

Yet she’s so unafraid

of being watched

That I’m the one

Shaking

and

nervous

I want to tell her she’s amazing

That she danced her way

into my heart that night

But I don’t.

I don’t want to be imposing.

I don’t want to interfere.

And because of it,

She’s just a girl at the train station
