Our Mission
At A Tiger Cub, we believe everyone deserves to find their people.
Our mission is to bring people closer by helping them build meaningful relationships, discover community, and find a place where they belong.
We believe connection doesn’t happen by accident. It is built through shared experiences, meaningful conversations, powerful stories, and everyday moments that bring people together. In a world where loneliness and social isolation are becoming increasingly common, we’re creating new ways for people to connect with one another and strengthen the communities around them.
Through Tiger Clubs, storytelling, cultural initiatives, educational projects, and community-led programs, we create opportunities for people to discover new perspectives, celebrate different cultures, build lasting friendships, and contribute to something bigger than themselves.
We also believe the future of connection depends on the people who create it. That’s why we empower the next generation of community builders with the tools, support, and opportunities to bring others together and create spaces where everyone feels welcome.
Whether through an event, a story, a conversation, or a shared tradition, every project at A Tiger Cub is guided by one simple question:
Does this bring people closer?
Because when people find their people, communities become stronger, cultures become more connected, and life is better together.
The Pillars
Leadership
Strong communities are built by people who choose to bring others together. We empower the next generation of community builders with the tools, opportunities, and support to create meaningful impact where they live.
Belonging
Everyone deserves a place where they feel welcomed, valued, and like they truly belong. We build communities where people can show up as themselves, form lasting relationships, and become part of something bigger than themselves.
Stories & Culture
Stories and culture help us better understand ourselves and one another. Through storytelling, cultural exchange, and creative expression, we foster curiosity and empathy, and inspire deeper human connection across communities.
Experiences
We believe shared experiences are one of the most powerful ways to bring people together. Through food, creativity, movement, learning, service, and culture, we create meaningful moments that spark genuine connection and strengthen relationships.
From The Founder
I was born Eric Luntian Chang on June 4, 2003. I am 23 years old, currently in Atlanta, often sitting in a small apartment surrounded by half-finished ideas, open tabs, and thoughts that drift far beyond my computer science degree. I did not set out to be a writer, storyteller, or founder. Most days, I am still figuring things out as I go.
I am the son of two first-generation immigrants who came to the United States with little more than hope, persistence, and a belief that things could be better for their children. They built a life through sacrifice. I grew up shaped by both their brilliance and their blind spots. By their warmth and their silences. By the lessons they passed down and the ones they never had the language to explain.
As I grew older, I began noticing patterns. Not just in my own family, but everywhere around me. Friends moved to new cities and struggled to find community. People longed for deeper friendships but did not know where to start. Communities felt increasingly fragmented. Everyone seemed connected to everything, yet disconnected from one another.
That realization eventually became A Tiger Cub.
At first, I turned to storytelling. Bojji was one way of exploring identity, family, culture, and the quiet moments that shape who we become. Through stories, I began asking questions about connection, belonging, and what it means to truly understand another person.
Over time, those questions grew beyond storytelling.
What began as a creative project became a community. A Tiger Cub now brings people together through shared experiences, meaningful conversations, and opportunities to build genuine relationships. From cultural events and community dinners to creative gatherings and local initiatives, our goal is simple: help people find their people.
At the heart of it all is a belief that connection does not happen by accident. It is created by people willing to show up, bring others together, and build the communities they wish existed.
A Tiger Cub is still growing, just like me. Maybe that is the point. Community is never finished. It is something we create together, one conversation, one gathering, and one relationship at a time.
