Dangerous Flower

The botanical garden lies just a few blocks away

from my home.

A sanctuary for bright reds, blues, and greens,

like a child’s dreamscape painted in wild strokes.

But as colors meld into shades of black and brown,

So too do painted petals in the face of wind

As I lose myself in their allure.

Time slips away unnoticed,

In the quiet bloom of endless seasons.

More to Love

Motherhood isn’t martyrdom—it’s modeling strength with love.

The sky, the earth, and the red pine.

Superstitions aren’t rules—they’re stories we inherit.
